In 2021, Arkansas legislators filed 43 proposed amendments addressing a wide variety of issues including partisan elections, procedures to recall a state official, limits to lawsuit damages, renters’ rights, and more. The General Assembly is allowed to refer up to three proposed constitutional amendments to voters in the 2022 General Election.

The Citizens First Congress, of which the Arkansas League of Women Voters is a part, has posted a guide to proposed amendments to the Arkansas constitution. It can be found here.
